The Hervey Bay Turtle Tour
The Milbi, our glass bottom boat, navigates through the beauty of the Great Sandy Strait Marine Park, it will take you to an island where you will be received by a warm Welcome to Country from our Butchulla guide.
As we travel through the Straits, join the search for fish habitat amongst the coral reef, turtles, dolphins, sea bird colonies, and possibly a reef shark or dugong. Mother Nature will lead the way.
Time is spent on the island where you can swim or snorkel in crystal clear waters, play a game of beach cricket or take the opportunity to relax on the sandy beaches. Immerse yourself in the Butchulla culture with our local Indigenous guide. As we only carry small numbers, your personalised Aboriginal experience is shared in a relaxed and friendly manner.
Whilst it is our aim to offer the best marine experience possible, inclusions may vary to suit the most favourable weather for your comfort. Reef snorkelling is determined by the conditions on the day, if the reef is not possible a beach snorkel will be available.
Turtle Discovery departs daily at 10.30am and returns approx. 2.30pm.
* To meet demand during school holidays we may operate two tours, departure times may vary, please check when booking.
