Your whale watching encounter awaits!
Humpback whales visit Hervey Bay every year from mid July to mid October, offering the most amazing experience to all visitors. Each day is different, and you never know what's going to happen next. It can be very exciting!
Hervey Bay is a stunning Whale Heritage Site used by the whales as a regular stop on their annual migration to Antartica, and we are known as 'The Whale Capital of the World'. Given the calm waters of Platypus Bay, there's no better place in Australia for whale watching and swimming with whales! A true paradise where the whales often allow close interaction.
There are many options available to you. Whether you are a family, young couple, group of friends, grey nomad, backpacker, there will be a tour to suit you, and we are happy to assist you in any way.
Scroll down to discover and book all tours, but if you have any question do not hesitate to contact us. We will happy to help!
