Welcome to the World Heritage Site, K'gari!
K'gari (also known as Fraser Island), is located on Australia’s eastern Queensland coast and is the largest sand island in the world, stretching over 120km. The traditional custodians of this land, the Butchulla people, have named this island K'gari, which means paradise, and this place truly is paradise but you have to come and see for yourself!
K'gari offers over 75 miles of sights to enjoy, over 100 freshwater lakes, rocky outcrops with magnificent views, a natural jacuzzi, wild dingoes, a beach nationally registered highway, rainbow coloured sands, and much more. Perfect to relax and explore!
Local tour operators offer exclusive experiences: fun and wild for the young, nice and easy for families, luxurious for the ones who are looking for comfort, even an aerial experience for the ones who want to see the shape of the island from above. For the more adventurous, you can create your own experience by renting your private 4x4.
